First, I did enjoy this CHAPTER, but I could not give it 5 stars ! It was just a chapter and not worth $1.99 ! sorry, I think the author could have given us a break even at 99 cents. We know you want us to continue with your books, to find out the outcome of things going on, but to leave a cliff hanger of sorts, for me is not good. So as far as I am concerned (regarding Grim and Lisa) their story ends now for me. I went by the reviews and did not notice 32 pages (or I would not have purchased) it wasn't that long!! BUT it was cute. so if you don't mind the cost, it's ok.

A Grim Holiday Tornians Book 2 eBook MK Eidem Reviews
The price was a bit more than I expected for approximately 35 pages but I really wanted more Grim, Lisa, the girls etc. So I splurged and was very happy that I did.
This short story is what I hope for every time I go back and read Grim. Taken care of is that jarring tense choice in Grim that I have to get caught up in the story to ignore. I'd buy Grim again in a second if I could read it without having to fight the tense choice through the entire book. (hint, hint Michelle)
The too brief look at the main characters gives a little more insight into Grim and Lisa's personalities and the differences in their two worlds. A glimpse is given of where the storyline is going after Kim and Wray's story is shown, hints dropped that Ull may get his own happy ending after all.
Just waiting now for Kim and Wray's story.
Cross posted , goodreads, shelfari.
Ok, I have stated previously that her style of writing was a little difficult to decipher but I eat my words on it NOW! She still gives readers a wonderful creative storyline that I can't help but LOVE that about her. The author is imaginative and heartfelt in how she portrays a story! Love her and she is now on my must read list. She reminds me of an early version of Kaitlyn O'Connor but with better storylines.
YAY!! Grim is back. This really short story catches up on Grim, Lisa, Miki, and Carly. Lisa is explaining Christmas to Grim, and introducing the holiday to him. Yes, it is really short, but I would assume that the Author read the critiques on her previous book, and TOTALLY changed the writing style..Just that gets another star from the 3 that I gave Grim..There are snippets in this book of more books to come, and I really like the peeks into what will happen with the other Earth women. But, back to the 'family'. The girls, Carly and Miki, actually steal the scenes in this book. I thought that it was so sweet, what happened with them and Grim. But I won't spoil it. I would like to see more of the Tornians, and how they adapt to the character and temperament of the Earth women. Overall, a short, sweet, generous read, more about family than anything else....Oh, yeah, a couple of HOT scenes between Lisa and Grim were thrown in, too.
It's a great continuous a great story. A people who have lost what it means to give to all. To take a holiday that sets men to prove that they are worthy of being good enough for the Goddess to give them a woman of their own by fighting to prove how strong they are, and changing it around with out a word but only by their actions, to show that what's inside and what you give of yourself is more Important than killing someone because you can. I chose this rating because it was very well written had a great story line and it teaches us the true meaning of love and giving, without being all about sex with no story line. What I loved about this book was the continuing of the story of Grim and the making of Christmas on another world. What I didn't like was that they didn't give out the presents to everyone and see all the changes to everyone else to. I also would have liked it took be a little longer. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 16. Thanks for sharing this book with me. It makes me feel good. Thanks Again. Aliceaddie 12@yahoo.com
Spreading the Christmas spirit across the galaxy is a lot harder than it looks. Some people celebrate the holiday with decorations, the spirit of giving and of course presents. While others celebrate with mortal combat (nothing says holiday like sending someone to the hospital).
Lisa and her daughter show Grim the meaning of Christmas. The love they have for him overwhelms the strong warrior and brings him to his knees. Even though the story is short, it flows smoothly and it's worth the read.
I find Grim compelling even with its errors.
This isn't so compelling even though it still contains most of the errors of Grim.
It's simply an epilogue linking Grim emotionally with Lisa's past.
Still, I have read it twice since I purchased it although I've read Grim about every other night and Oryon and Ynyr almost as much.
Really, I'd like to see stories about Ull, Korin, Jago, Paganus, Veron, Callen as well as the kidnapped women.
This is how Grim should have been written! Everything that was off about Grim has been corrected here. The unusual , slightly jarring tense choice of the first book has been abandoned for the more common past tense. Editing is far superior, with only a few errors of the sort you find in most books.
We get to see glimpses of current events for the women of the first book, while getting an up close and personal update for Grim and Lisa, as they blend cultures and traditions. It is quite short, but what is trying to be told, is, with some sexy bits (as you'd expect. Lisa just keeps surprising Grim) and some really sweet moments. Just right for this time of year. A new element added to the overall story arc that makes this a bridge to the next book. There is no cliffhanger, though. A really fun read!
